Some new gear and a visual check up.

The form is good, and it is great to be playing in Europe again. Whistling Straits was also a fantastic experience. Although I did not make the cut in the USPGA Championship, I must say that the Straits course is one of the best I've ever played. It is simply quite outstanding.

I have a new putter in the back this week. I have worked a lot on my putting the last few weeks, and therefore I also got my eyes tested. I have really good eyes, but the doctors have found out that I'm not good at seeing three-dimensional. Therefore it’s difficult for me to assess lengths. It can be a part of the explanation for why I have little problems on the greens ... Now we are working to get it improved and then we will see if I can hole some more putts in the future.

I have also brought a new 3-wood with me to Gleneagles. I was not entirely happy with the old one, but the new one seems to work. It's the same Callaway model as the old one, but I have another shaft in the new one.
